The Standard
The Golden Rules of DTF
Our industrial dual-head printers output exactly what you provide. Follow these 4 rules to guarantee retail-quality results.
300 DPI Resolution
Ensure your artwork is created at 300 DPI at the final print size. Upscaling a low-res 72 DPI image will still result in blurry, pixelated edges.
Transparent BG
Your background must be 100% transparent. Any white pixels, stray dust, or background boxes will print as solid white ink on your apparel.
CMYK Color Mode
Design in CMYK color space. RGB screen colors (especially neon blues and greens) can shift slightly when converted to physical ink.
2pt Line Weight
All standalone lines and text strokes must be at least 2pt (0.07 inches) thick. Anything thinner will not have enough surface area for the adhesive powder to stick.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I upload a JPEG with a white background?
No. JPEGs do not support transparency. If you upload a JPEG, our printer will print a solid white square box behind your artwork. Always use transparent PNG or vector PDF formats.
What is the maximum size for a gang sheet?
Our standard rolls print up to 22 inches wide by any custom length up to 120 inches. Ensure your canvas is set to exactly 22 inches wide in your design software.
Do you review files before printing?
We run an automated pre-flight check for transparency and basic resolution. However, we do not proofread spelling, check for low-quality source images, or verify sizing. Please double-check your files!
